Hofu, Køge, Denmark

A sushi restaurant in Køge, Dk, EU. We have visited this restaurant before, but it has been a while. This time, on a Monday evening, we was out with a cousin.

When we eat sushi we always do it as a ‘all you can eat’ solution. Since Z does not care for raw fish or seaweed, she primarily eat rice paper roll, sticks, and such. Especially rice paper roll are best served fresh from the kitchen.

The food was accompanied by Coca Cola and Z had a mocktail with passion fruit and pineapple. Because of Z’s citrus allergies most mocktails are off limits to her. Z enjoy the passion fruit and pineapple combination immensely.

✔️ great 〰️ can improve or not as described or disliked ➗ bad

✔️Bao buns was new to the menu. It was also something new to us. We have talked about trying it out when possible and here they were.
H ordered chicken and Z ordered both chicken and ebi. It was a great experience the bread was so soft, if it had a distinct taste it was drowned out by the fillings. This trendy food (in Denmark at least it is creeping in) is hopefully here to stay. We enjoyed them very much.

✔️The sticks, deep fried foods, rice paper roll, and sushi was delicious and simply decorative. We had nothing to criticise.

✔️H tried sushi with mango and found that the fruit enhanced the fish taste. An interesting and not at all bad experience.

The serving staff and kitchen were accommodating and friendly. There were no problems with Z’s special orders: rice paper roll made without avocado.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ the food was perfect, service was great.
